I remember reading an interview with Moz, conducted by regional Manchester culture mag City Life, in either 2002 or 2003. It made me smile at the time
Q: Eminem is the new Morrissey. Discuss
A: City Life is the new Pig Farmer's Weekly. Discuss
I can't help but think that anyone trying to get...
Those who disbelieve this far outweigh the number of people who seriously believe it. But at the end of the day it's an interesting read for whatever you take away from it.
The validity of this being on the main page is irrelevant. It's moz news and this site has always posted practically every...
In 2004 Morrissey's comeback was facilitated because of a pre-existing scene in which he and artists from a similar era were touted as a major influence by new and emerging bands, most of which aren't as prominent any more: Franz Ferdinand, Bloc Party, Ordinary Boys (named after a Moz track, of...
I'm sorry... patient/Dr confidentiality? 'Ooh, Moz, Get this, right... I've just come back from the Ritz... Yeah, Maggie literally soiled 'erself this arvo'
You'd think that a posting headed 'Bombing Syria is None of Your Business' would be a lengthy and heartfelt piece about the casualties of a human war, a diatribe to the audacity of Cameron's decree that if you're not backing these air strikes you're a terrorist sympathiser; the out and our...
When you isolate the left-wing broadsheets like the Guardian - whose demographic contains indie loving youngsters who buy a lot of records, and those who loved his music in the 1980s and 1990s - something is seriously wrong. And I'm surprised there haven't been more 'Morrissey compares alleged...
There is a subtext to all these seemingly random Moz related images
This one, for instance, reads: 'I don't create the offensive memes, don't blame me I just get someone (probably my nephew) to post 'em for me'.
At the end of the day, Moz, it's coming out of YOUR website and you're condoning...
I'm hooked by the new one. It's got to be said. I don't usually go in for ten minute epics because of the capacity in which I listen to music nowadays - usually on a commute or when walking. I like short, snappy songs and tend to skip regularly in favour of something else. But that being said...
Hmm, I'm not totally sure I agree with that statement, about Bowie.
While I do enjoy the Dame's music a lot, I would refer to Bowie more as 'astute' than 'ingenious'. His success in popular music has been more to do with recognising a particular style and aping this in order to gain...
Capitalised 'Career Suicide'; Hashtag Profitfromparis.... I'm sure you think that'll look really good on a badge. You could stand on the high street with a trestle table and a petition on a clip board, with your pac-a-mac on. 'Excuse me, Madam, can you spare us a few minutes to talk about a...
I have no rebuttal. I believe it to be a cynical and misguided attempt to re-rail a derailed career. There's no sane argument for Morrissey's conduct in all of this. And I've said so in multiple threads.
The difference is, I'm not trying spearhead some sort of campaign to get others to think...
