Just had an e-mail back from the producer of the show saying "Hopefully in late September."
I'm glad i'm not going mad first and foremost :D. Hopefully it happens!
I could end up looking pretty stupid if it turns out he was talking about someone else :D, but I'm 90% certain he said Moz, and it all fits from what he was saying.
I'm not on twitter, but maybe someone can tweet him about it? :)
And from looking at his twitter, he quoted Everyday is Like...
This is always on at work, and I think I heard him say that he may be interviewing Moz in September!
I say 'think' as I really couldn't hear clearly; but he was going on about a lyricist he massively admired, how he was really worried that they they wouldn't like him, and how said person was...
Yeah I definitely will do, presuming the info is correct :). I'd love to go to where 'Who put the M...' was filmed anyway, and The Courteeners never fail to put on a great gig.
I'd be more than happy for it to be at Gmex again. The Courteeners there last year was a sensational gig.
For Courteeners fans, I heard a rumour today about an MEN gig in December, with I Am Kloot supporting (whose new album, Sky At Night, is brilliant).
I hadn't even heard of Moz in 2004 so unfortunately wasn't at the comeback MEN gig, but I've only heard bad things about the venue :(. Is it...
Tony Wilson, though clearly a legenday figure in Manchester music, was also a massive c***, and he and Moz famously didn't get along. I wouldn't pay much attention to anything that came out of his mouth.
I'm Jewish; not that it really matters. I found it funny more than anything :D, and that's presuming the story isn't bullshit.
There was clearly no malice intended.
It may be kneejerk, but I didn't vote for Nick Clegg only to get David Cameron, and yet that is what has happened.
I cannot see how a Government with David Cameron at its helm, and Gideon Osbourne as its Chancellor (!) can be anything other than a disaster, especially when its built upon such...
Any chance of Moz releasing an adapted version of "Margaret on The Guillotine", with the "Margaret" changed to "Cameron"?
Let's hope this Tory government implodes and we get rid of the c***s within 18 months.
f*** me, they're boring.
He played what looked like a bloody great gig, to adoring fans, in a very liberal, modern city.
What's the problem?
Luckily, I don't think anyone will be boycotting Morrissey because some idiots tell them to.
