    I no doubt sense the frustration in your comment. I'll go on record saying that I when I go to a Morrissey show, I go hoping to hear Smiths tunes. Don't get me wrong, I like his solo work but I feel that a lot of his solo work doesn't hold a candle to the Smiths catalog. Again, that's me.

    Maybe a lot of "us" are a lot like "him"......he says music of today is bland/boring, perhaps we feel the same and that's why we prefer his older catalog.

    I was thinking about this after attending The Cribs show last week. Tickets were $20 each. The Bowery Ballroom supposedly seats 550 people. That's $11000 total take. Dividing by 4 band members that's $2750 each. And that's BEFORE the venue takes their cut and they pay their crew, any...

    Still have both my shoes :-) There was another person in the front row that had a much better camera than mine, almost professional looking which was hilarious because the venue was against that. I'd love to get some of his pictures!
