I know. I speak as a guy who has had him breeze by. But he made up for it by stopping after the show. I've not hung around before or after since 2007 though. I'm okay with my Morrissey moments.

I can safely say I've never held my face immediately after a punch because I'm either mentally going "what the f*** was that?" or "Oh great, now I'm in a fist-fight and it's time to put 'em up."
Look at the second video of the four and pay close attention to the guy's hands. You'll see his right is clenched at his side and he puts all of his momentum into throwing his left fist. If you go to youtube and play the clip at half speed it becomes really apparent.
By Starcrawler? Probably not. But I do agree with you that many bands that turned out to be favorites were once opening acts that I was early enough to see.
Same here, actually. I think you need the tribe that a specific genre or two represents in your teenage years, but as you get older you learn to recognize music that resonates with your spirit instead of your fashion.
