Here we go again another fake

Totally agree, I use to enjoy some of the dog shit posted on Ebay, some were even laughable

    Peepholism hard back

I check the Abe webpage occasionally but never find one for sale. I wouldn't mind if I was after a bargain and was too tight fisted, but absolutely not a single one for sale when I look :(

What's the first Moz or Smiths item you got

I bought Best I and Best II on cassette (why didn't I buy them on vinyl) back in 1992. I didn't know much about them, but in those days I use to buy random music as the mood took me. Obviously I am sooooo glad that I did.

I don't really collect these days so put off buying this until now. £30 for a perfect, sealed copy seemed a reasonable price?

I brought a perfect copy of the softback many years ago, it is definitely my favourite book in my collection.

Thanks FWD, unfortunately i don't subscribe to Facebook, but it's worth knowing the book does exist. I shall just have to be more vigilant

    Peepholism hard back

Hello, every now again, I get the desire to hunt down a hardback version of Jo Slee's PEEPHOLISM: INTO THE ART OF MORRISSEY. But can never find one for sale? As it's mentioned in Passionsjustlikemine, i assume it must exist, but I have never found one. Please could someone confirm I am not...

Discovered this whilst on a short trip to London: Glamorous Glue 7" promo The seller wanted £200 but I managed to haggle the price down to £180 which looking at Discogs, seemed a decent price? Especially as it is in beautiful condition. Now just seen someone has one on Ebay for £900 :openmouth:

Ringleader of the Tormentors Chinese unofficial release (cat. dsd-1570)

I have just realised I have a copy and have absolutely no idea where it came from, but to be fair, these days, that is not unusual

Finally managed to get my paws on a copy of New York Dolls. I was fully expecting to pay a lot more than the price I paid. Very happy 😀.

    Advice on selling my collection

From experience, you get more interest if you say how much you were looking for as oppose to asking for offers.

Bargain or did you pay too much?

I don't think I have ever over paid for anything at the time of purchase, but I imagine some items may now be worth less than the price I paid? I use to enjoy visiting record fairs where, if you were lucky, you might find a rarity at a lot less than it's true value plus you got to inspect its...

My wife found me one of these almost 9 years to the date to celebrate the birth of my beautiful daughter. She contacted another collector and friend who put her in touch with someone who was willing to sell their copy. I hate to think what she paid for it but I am very grateful and it is...

My friend Roger died a few weeks ago and one of his daughters found this hanging from one of the walls in his music room and kindly thought I might like to own it.

    Rarest Smiths/Moz

It looks great and I wish I owed it, but still glad I didn't hand over £400 to the original seller.
