I just saw Noel Gallagher, co-headline with Garbage, and he only played 14 songs. Then went home to headline and played 18. So there’s some contemporary Mancunian setlist stats for you.
My partner in crime is there and I reckon she’s just keeled over from Speedway. Actually, she just texted me and said the band knocked it out of the park “best live version ever.” Now I need video.
One thing that just occurred to me now....about 10 minutes before Morrissey came out, one of his crew came out and changed something on all the setlists that were taped down on the floor. I haven't seen a photo of a setlist that anyone may have gotten after the show on social media, but I...
Maybe you are, but I’m not and other fans I go to shows with “in this area” are not. Brendan has just said they’re going to record again and then hit the road next year. I think M was sad that the tour is over, it’s been a great half year from Vegas forward for him, barring the cancellations...
You mean eight years ago when he played exactly one of the same songs he played last night?

Or maybe 10 years ago when he played three of the same songs...
bored…the folks on the list who get walked in ahead of the general public usually take spots at the front, but security has been moving them aside at seated venues so that the actual ticket holders in the front row stand at the stage first. It’s one thing when they do that at a free for all GA...
I was there and had front row ’seats’ legitimately by ticket. They were letting the first two rows stand at the stage. Security checked your ticket and seat location and gave you a wristband so you could come and go easily. (Same the next night in NJ btw).
This was one of my favorite shows...
I read in a forum for another band that with so many bands hitting the road after the pandemic shutdown, space that works for desired schedules is hard to come by.
No, from several people I know who were in the front row, there was a raised edge between the stage and a platform he was on along the front of the stage. He caught his heel on the edge stepping backwards. The jeans had nothing to do with it.
The difference in prices from the artist presales to the general public onsale was ridiculous. Ticketmaster’s “surge pricing” is completely out of control. We got a pair in Row E in Boston on Wednesday for $448 total, today the seats next to those were going for $900 EACH. How is that legal...
I could only make it to the last night. I’m bummed to have missed such a string of shows. My usual partner in crime was at all 5 and she agrees this topped last year’s residency. I was struck by how damn good he sounds (how is he getting better with age???) and how very very strong this setlist...
Something was wrong with his foot speakers, like they were too loud. He held his ears a few times indicating they were loud and then played from stage right the rest of the set to get away from the noise or to better hear himself. If you watched he was really annoyed by it.
They were only letting rows a and b stand at the stage and they were extremely strict on that. There was no storming to be done. Part of the shit show that occurred at the end of the last show was a guy who tried to go up and over the top from dead center. Row a and b seats were empty since...
My favorite of the 5 shows. Morrissey was happy and truly enjoying being here. The overall vibe was the best of the 5 nights IMO. He went WAY out on to both sides of the front rows to shake hands and I caught him with a big smile a few times on camera. He loved this. I loved this. So happy I...
He’d tried to get to the far side of the stage and ran out of mic cord. He tugged too hard and I think lost his foot speakers, it didn’t seem like he couldnt hear himself after that.
