PETA UK (via Gloucestershire Live): "Morrissey writes to TUI demanding they stop selling trips to parks" (May 1, 2024)

I love when Morrissey speaks about the things he values. With him, you don't see that displayed any more passionately than you do regarding animal causes. That being said, I love the Baltimore Aquarium, but can still appreciate Morrissey's perspective here as I do value life. If they did...

Big Issue / Robin Ince: "You can grow up to be Morrissey or you can grow up to be Johnny Marr – which are you?" (April 30, 2024)

Tough choice. Without Morrissey, Marr certainly wouldn't be 'carrying the torch' for The Smiths, wouldn't have played with his hero Bert Jansch, Brian Ferry, etc. Without Marr, Morrissey might have continued as a published author (James Dean is Not Dead), as a music critic, or just continued...

Record Store Day 2024: "Interlude" limited edition gold vinyl released today (April 20, 2024)

Pretty nice looking cover, sleeve, and disc. I love the choice of colors and the fonts as well. We were just recently chatting about how he needs to get back to using his artistic eye when designing his modern-day sleeves.

Morrissey Central "FRIDAY 26 JULY" (April 13, 2024)

It sure is glorious! Sounded very optimistic too!

Morrissey Central "FRIDAY 26 JULY" (April 13, 2024)

Yep, I loved that one. And all the shots of him laying on top of the stage monitors - great stuff!

    Al Jardine

He gives off a real 'satisfied with my life' vibe in this picture.

That's a classic pic, I think from one of their first band lineups. In photos back then, it was far too easy to look like you were 40 when you were really 25.

Bonfire of Teenagers or Without Music The World Dies

You've got terrific Phil Collins vox in early Genesis music too, like 'One for the Vine' and 'Home by the Sea'. And even if it's for a younger crowd, his soundtrack for Disney's Tarzan was outstanding. Genesis played a famous 1980 concert in Montreal where they played an outstanding...

Oh for sure, the profile looks like Andy to a T.

Mozarmy: "All About Andy" event lineup revealed (April 7, 2024)

Awesome! The ad is terrific too, featuring what looks to be a largely unseen pic of Rourke --- and he's in the car! :D They do know that Andy wasn't on the cover of Hatful of Hollow, right?

Taz: Courtney Taylor-Taylor (Dandy Warhols) on Morrissey (March 24, 2024)

I remember being 13 watching that video brand new on MTV. That video is super high energy, I loved it! You realize years later...he's not really evil, just muscular. Not nearly as muscular as Doyle though. :D

Taz: Courtney Taylor-Taylor (Dandy Warhols) on Morrissey (March 24, 2024)

To be fair, Danzig recently released an album entirely of Elvis covers! Danzig's version of The Girl of My Best Friend is terrific. The music is so-so, but his voice still sounds great at his age. I always thought it would be cool of Danzig to do an Elvis tribute CD.
