Post Whatever You Are Thinking At This Very Moment

Thanks for your reply LH. I'm stressed and it's compounding my feelings of stuckness. I have felt stuck for 3 ish years. Sometimes I feel like I missed my boat or something? I hate it.

Post Whatever You Are Thinking At This Very Moment

Is anyone else here unbearably lonely? I am. How crude of me to post this on a message board, but I don't really care. I don't have social media to fill the gap. I have not a soul to call and talk to tonight. I have drifted so far from people. Ugh. I usually manage it, but a stressful situation...

Classic Pop: Sparks on Morrissey - "it's saddening, very disheartening"

I feel like this is the predominant debate on here, but what and where exactly is the “us vs. them” stance that is being referenced here? Also, Morrissey has ALWAYS been against humanity. He has said from the beginning of his career he doesn’t like people in general, and prefers animals to...

    Tim Pope and Morrissey

Did Tim Pope ever work with Morrissey on a video? I thought I saw somewhere that he directed one of his videos, but a google searched didn't turn anything up. I'm curious to know what it was they worked on. Anyone know?

Question How would you rate the Morrissey cover designs

I like it! The original Kill Uncle is my fave album cover. The pose is legendary. 2nd fave is Your Arsenal. And I've always loved the Southpaw cover. I like all his covers. Long live Morrissey.

    Steven Morrissey and Johnny Marr

I agree. It would destroy that perfect, untarnished, "frozen in time" thing the smiths aura has. Morrissey and marr know this too I think. They will never, ever, ever reunite. I would be more satisfied to know that they are friends, than to ever see them play live, or make another recording...

Poll Was Moz in love with Johnny Marr? please vote

I’m going to say yes. But, I think most people who are so musically compatible fall in love in the beginning. Even if only briefly.

    Welcome to Morrissey-Solo

I’m newish to the site but I’ve been a fan since 2006 when I heard wonderful woman one night while driving home and almost drove into a ditch. Since then, I have felt like morrissey sings from within my own soul. Sigh. Long live Morrissey! I’ve seen him live three times and met him once ♥️

Question Morrissey songs mentioned o alluded in "Autobiography" ?

Yes there are a lot of mentions of his songs in his book. Pretty much throughout there are songs mentioned. I came away with a good understanding of where a lot of his inspiration for songs came from. For example, Linder sterling asked if he was “still ill?”

    Your latest Morrissey/Smiths buy

Morrissey's autograph makes me crazy. It looks exactly like he sounds.

What song are you listening to right now?

WOWWWWWWW Was his voice ever better? I wish Vini Reilly and Morrissey had stayed together longer. They're musical styles compliment each other so beautifully.

What song are you listening to right now?

Wow. I’ve loved Morrissey for 14 years and I can’t remember ever hearing this song!? Thank you it’s so beautiful!! Where has it been all this time?

    Morrissey and psychedelics?

There’s a thread on here somewhere about I keep mine hidden, and someone made the interpretation that “yellow & green” was about feeling gutless and inexperienced- Either that or it was referring to his yellow and green glam pants from teenage years that prohibited anyone from finding him...
