Absolutely great music but they go about it in a rapid fire manner without much interaction from them to the audience. They let the music do the talking. Don't get me wrong, I will travel to see the Pixies but its a totally different experience than seeing Morrissey.
By the way, the Pixies first show is rumored to be set for early April in Boston.

The Pixies. Wow. I saw Frank black and he isn't as sharp as in days gone by, but with Kim and Joey, he will be 'digging for fire' (excuse the lame pun). apparently, the drummer isn't part of it? can anyone confirm this???

And also, that rumor that Morrissey might not show up because Alain hurt his back in Vegas or some place. To aggravate things, the bastard started his performance late. The poor DJ (DJ Liquid Todd?) before Moz had to hold off angry Moz fans for longer than he was prepared to do.

New Morrissey pictures in Index (Score:0)
Hi all,
Follow the above link for some news about the new Index magazine with the Morrissey cover/interview.
The photos are of him in the grounds of the studio where he's been recording You Are The Quarry. Been looking for the mag in newsagents here in London but haven't found it yet.
I'll forward the link to DavidT but thought I would stick it here in the meantime.
Cheers.

I wish I could go, but there's no way, because it's in California (and I'm not).
Would it be horribly petty and selfish of me to hope that Morrissey doesn't perform, so that I wouldn't miss such an amazing show?
Yes it would. So I don't. Have fun, you lucky, lucky American bastards.
