From andy:

This is from the K record label when talking about Rose Melberg of "Softies" fame:

"...Rose is also living in the country of Canada and working on some solo stuff (I assume) and has been asked to appear in a movie with Morrissey. Don't ask me for details as that is all I know right now. Miko is another band as well, but I don't know too much about that yet. If anyone is curious, I will find out."

I'm embarrassed to admit I've watched it, but has anyone ever noticed a resemblance between Morrissey and David Canary (the guy who plays Adam Chandler on All My Children)? I think Morrissey would be great on a screen of any sort. He has a very dramatic presence and I think people really like just looking at him and studying him. He's such a unique individual.

Haha.. Morrissey does not resemble the guy from "All My Children" In the least bit! Ok maybe you meant that as a joke.. But I can't really picture him as an actor.

Morrissey resembles the basketball player Arvidas Sabonis (of Portland Trailb. fame) ((also Zalgiris of Kaunas, Lithuanian national team, and a host of spanish league teams))

I love watching my Moz videos. So It would great to see him on the silver screen just like his hero's Elvis and James Dean!

Morrissey looks a lot like Stanley Baker, who played in numerous British 60s films, most notably Zulu,(with Michael Caine). There is a scene in Zulu where the Stanley Baker character comes out of the water, and if you wouldn't know better, you'd swear it was Morrissey's uncle or something.

Decko
Morrissey does NOT look like Arvidas Sabonis. Yet i find that person along with Morrissey pretty attractive too. I think he looks more like a "Quentin Taratino." Does anybody kindly agree?
As far as Morrissey appearing on the "silver screen" its kinda true. I think it was kroq after the chat thing that happen sometime ago, that he wanted to be in the movies. which was a total surprise to me.
But my hopes are up if Morrissey does appear in the movies.

I agree with Kevin, Morrissey does resemble Chris Isaak and Quentin Tarantino, with just a dash of Elvis.
