From Peter Payne of New York: This is from a passage from Jay McInerneys (Bright Lights, Big City), latest novel "Model Behavior". It is a rather good read at that. It has to do with the main character, Connor McKnights girlfriend leaving him. "Shes gone Connor. Shes only coming back to get her clothes. Plus, watch, shell take all the tapes and CDs you bought when you were together. They always do, even the ones they bitched about all the time. It doesnt matter that she absolutely hated Led Zeppelin II or LOUDER THAN BOMBS, it doesnt matter that she always told you to turn them down." I found it quite interesting to still see them referred to in Literature. As I said before it is a good book and as well as Model Behavior, the books contains 7 short stories. Well worth the buy. |
