Morrissey Central "A RUSH AND A PUSH AND THE MUSIC IS OURS" (April 19, 2024)

Finally! Now all we need is the sensible thing - a self-release, or an independent label - and the music really will be ours.

Morrissey is now being managed by Pete Galli of Red Light Management (February 12, 2024)

    They're brilliant - maybe they'll end up supporting M?

Both Quarry anniversary events cancelled (January 25, 2024)

Oh dear. So expected that I actually didn't expect it.

    Fiona Dodwell: “Truth-Tellers Silenced” (December 29, 2023)

Aside from repeating her usual stuff which is arguably rubbish, it baffles me just how bad her writing is. Very trite and melodramatic.

Live Nation: Bangkok & Hong Kong now cancelled (November 9, 2023)

This is awful. I want to believe there's a proper reason, but it's hard not to be outright angry, especially if the dates are not moved to sometime very soon. Either way it's a real shame for the fans on this leg.

Gustavo Manzur posts "In Your Lap" (piano instrumental) on his Instagram (October 26, 2023)

I enjoy all of those. There certainly have been worse over the last ten years.

Gustavo Manzur posts "In Your Lap" (piano instrumental) on his Instagram (October 26, 2023)

Gustavo has written some fantastic songs. I'd love him to come back - not to replace any of the current band necessarily, because they're excellent themselves, but just to flesh out the Morrissey roster with even more proficient and prolific musicians.

I have a Bona Drag shirt and there's nothing wrong with it. It's a shame that certain others aren't of good quality. Does anybody have a site/place where one can find high-quality merchandise?

    Fox5NY: Morrissey, Exclusive Performance & Interview (October 20, 2023)

I think people generally feel her playing is a bit inconsistent and too rocky, if that makes sense - too much rock 'n' roll and not enough jangle. But I think she adds a fantastic muscularity to the songs, especially tracks like 'Our Frank' which is at risk of being a little limp like the...

    Fox5NY: Morrissey, Exclusive Performance & Interview (October 20, 2023)

I'm very happy to see M appearing where others besides fans might see him. I'm not sure the song he chose will draw in many people, but personally I'm starting to really like it and I think it's really catchy. And finally my optimism about an album release has some justification!

    Atlanta, GA - Fox Theatre (Oct. 12, 2023) post-show

It was the same in Portsmouth and towards the end there was a lot of groaning with each clip that started. It was the one part which the audience didn't totally love. It'd be nice if he shortened it a little bit, and even nicer if there was a support act. It seemed like the two in Leeds on the...

St. Petersburg, FL - Mahaffey Theater (Oct. 10, 2023) post-show

Even with this repetitive setlist I know M and the band are always brilliant. My only disappointment as someone who cannot attend is that there are no unheard tracks, because I'm dying for something new, especially with the two albums seeming so unlikely to be released.

Once again you missed the point, so I too am done. Mild best wishes.

    Another trans discussion

That's one person, who is of course despicable. But you must realise how many respectable and acceptable trans people there are apart from that person who also live within an hour from you, and throughout the world. I know several trans people and they are pretty much the most empathetic and...
