After previously canceling Royal Albert Hall appearance on monday due to illness, it seems mozzer is still ill as he has had to cancel his forthcoming tv appearance on later with jools holland tonight which also includes The New York Dolls. his myspace blog says that he needs time for recouperation so there can be minimal disruption to his uk tour:

Morrissey Cancels Later... With Jools Holland Appearance
It's with great reluctance that Morrissey has been forced to cancel his scheduled appearance on the Later... With Jools Holland program this week.

Instead, Morrissey will continue his recuperation so that he can get back on the road as soon as possible and that the minimum disruption is caused to his current UK tour.

Hi all. I work here at Symphony Hall and just heard that Morrissey has cancelled tomorrow nights gig here. Absolutely gutted.
Just wanted to let you all know asap.
Hoping to reschedule.

Symphony Hall Notification

We regret that this concert has been cancelled due to illness but we are working to try and reschedule the concert to a date later in the year. We will be contacting ticket holders once we are clear as to what is happening, in the meantime ticket holders should keep their tickets.

Mikey Farrell, formerly of Morrissey's band, will be the in-studio guest on this week's edition of "Breakfast with The Smiths: The World of Morrissey" this Sunday May 17th on www.Indie1031.com at 9am Pacific Time.

The former keyboard/trombone/trumpet/percussion/guitar player and backing vocalist will talk with host Jose Maldonado about life on the road with Morrissey and what he's been up to since the "Ringleader" tour.

Tickets for Rimini on 13 and 14 July are now on sale at www.ticketone.it which has an English version. According to Velvet's website (the venue), these will be the only Italian dates, but I don't know if that's official.

I saw a commercial for a new television program that will air on ABC TV (USA) called "The Goode Family" created by Mike Judge of King of the Hill and Beavis and Butt-head fame.

One of the characters wears a t-shirt with the phrase "Meat Is Murder" written across the front.

It begins later in May, so don't know if there is any other Morrissey connection other than the T-shirt.
