First, thank you to whomever posted my music column in the Daily Evergreen about Morrissey's Spokane show. It was a pleasant surprise to log into Morrissey-Solo and see that.

Second, with that being said, I'm sure you'll understand my massive disappointment at the phone call I received ten minutes ago from TicketsWest, informing me that a) the Spokane show has been moved from the INB Performing Arts Center to the Big Easy concert venue (a smaller, club setting...probably because a lack of ticket sales), and that b) the show is also now 21+ (do venues give performers a cut of the alcohol sales?).

The best part? My 21st birthday is in June.

Life is dandy for under-21 eastern WA Morrissey fans. But apparently there were only a handful of us anyway. Ugh.

Just thought people would want to know.

I got a call from the good folks at Ticket West this afternoon. They are the company responsible for ticketing the Spokane, WA show Sat. May 5th. The venue has been changed from the Performing Arts Center to a club called the Big Easy.(Still in Spokane) Significant changes for fans, since it is now a 21+ show with general admission. The capacity is only 1500, so it should be quite an intimate affair.
