MORRISSEY! 10-11-04 He graciously allowed me to come to his dressingroom before his show last night at Radio CIty. You have to love this man. He's such a special person -- in so many ways...

His show was fantastic, by the way. I missed the last few songs because I had to leave at 10:15. I was really tired after my flight from London, but I saw about 1 hour and 15 minutes of the set. I was able to hear and see him perform "Let Me Kiss You" again, and it was wonderful.

Morrissey vs. Clay Aiken: Who’s Rock’s Greatest Celibate? by Serene Dominic, Metro Times Detroit

What’s the real measure of a man — a sex-shunning guy who sits alone reading Oscar Wilde or an adenoidal virgin who belts the hell outta Neil Sedaka songs?

What was the last CD you bought?
I bought Razorlight after my son gave me a great compilation which had them on. I buy so many on iTunes, such as Morrissey's new album, which I love.

Talking on Radio 2 this afternoon, Dave Stewart revealed that the reformed Eurythmics intend to record a cover of 'Last Night I Dreamt That Somebody Loved Me'.

He explained that band had covered the song at some of their live dates on their tour five years ago, and that they planned to record some of the more unusual covers that they have performed over the years for a forthcoming release.

The Smiths are one of the bands to be featured on this Sunday's Channel 4 show 'UK Hall Of Fame'(Sun 17th Oct).

The format of the show is that a case is put forward for several bands, this week concentrating on the 1980s, and then the viewers have to vote by phone, e-mail or text for the best band. The Smiths will be competing against R.E.M and Joy Division, amongst others.

The whole thing is, of course, fake, but it will be nice to see(hopefully) some long unseen Smiths footage, and any footage of Joy Division is also very welcome.

The show is on between 9:00p.m. and 11:10p.m.

Robbie Williams dropped in Morrissey's name when talking with Jools Holland. Jools asked him what he was listening to lately, "Robbie" replied:'My new record, Morrissey's new album and Jay-Z'. Why persist in his hollow attempts at seeming credible.
