An interview with the Alain Whyte produced band, Crash Action, can be found on the Alain Whyte Syte. Because the interview is currently hosted on a free geocities site, it is very likely that the site might exceed its transfer capacity. If you are unable to open the page, simply try back in one hour or so, or go directly to the interview. London-based Crash Action is definitely worth the effort!

Tonight on Virgin Radio (24/10/02) Drive time with Pete & Jeff they were interviewing Captain America, another dj on their station, has a regular slot on Sundays (aka Nick Stewart).

They were talking in general about American artists and what he had been up to and who he was listening to, anyway cut to the chase at the end Pete asked Nick if he was going to sign Morrissey his reply, "I would love to." Pete & Jeff kept badgering him and saying go on give him a deal, his final words were "ok I'll see what I can do."

Who is Nick Stewart you ask? Well he's only one door down from being the President of BMG records. His credentials are quite impressive: he gave U2 their first record deal when he was at Island. Back in 2001 at a U2 gig Bono singled him out in the crowed and said, "we owe this man our life."

Fingers crossed everybody

Håkan Hellström, a very popular Swedish artist, performed an acoustic version of "There Is A Light That Never Goes Out" on Swedish national television on the show "Riktig talkshow" last Friday, 18 Oct.

Håkan is a big fan and also used a lot of Morrissey quotes on his debut album, but the lyrics are all in Swedish.
