There is no lead story for this update. I'm sure it's just a temporary thing and things are being worked on, but for right now, there is nothing to post. So... is there anything else exciting going on while we wait?

Regarding the site, in the past several weeks there have been some more ISP connection problems, so you may have seen some intermittent outages. To avoid these problems and for future peace of mind I think I will have to finally pull the trigger and move the server to a hosting location. Perhaps this will happen in the next few weeks.

A friend of mine went to see The Walkabouts in Bochum (Germany) last Tuesday and they surprised the audience with a beautiful and slow version of "There is a light that never goes out" as an encore.
Great band, great song! What else can I say? :-)

It has taken us several months but the jmarr.com website is back up. Before we launch the new one, people can resubscribe to the newsletter that from now on will provide the official news.

The story for being offline:
- provider company I worked for filed for bankrupcy and its new owners refused to give access to the files that were on my PC there, hence no communication, nothing at all, I've been working with lawyers to get on my own PC. Finally in early January I regained access.

And a few days back we were able to recover the old site meaning all the info stored in there will be kept.

A new site is being worked on in close collaboration with Johnny Marr.
