      I think anything that Stephin Merritt has written is fair game, but in particular "Meaningless" from 69 Love Songs. I had hoped that Morrissey was going to show up on the 6ths album, but that album was kind of a disappointment, so I'm glad he didn't.

                      I think Morrissey's music is very similar in sound, lyrics, and emotion to Ray Davies and The Kinks. Morrissey should acknowledge that and cover some Kinks songs as a show of respect.

                                                                What about "His Latest Flame" by Elvis? It's my favorite Elvis song. It's actually the B side to "Little Sister". Both songs would be fantastic for Morrissey to cover...Other than those, I can't think of anything else.

                                                                              exuse any typos its so hard to concentrate on typing while i'm choking back my vomit. this is obviously a great way for everyone here to show everyone else here what "great" taste they have in music. wretch. i nearly lost it when i read the post by the little girl who thought it would be adorable if morrissey covered personal jesus. were you recently let out of prison or a dark cave? my god, to even suggest moz cover a song by those no talent hacks makes me wretch. then there's idiots trying to be cool by listing shit so frickin obscure that you and three other people would even recognize it as a cover in the first place. congratulations on showing everyone how fucking hip you are. i wish i hadn't sent in a donation, david. what happened to this site? it used to be the best, now i just don't know. "moz in dublin"....."smiths mention here"......"morrissey comparison there" who cares??? who cares at all really. i think the next moz album will be the sequel to "smiths is dead." he is done. four plus years is a long time to wait between albums when you aren't being successful in the first place. thanks for the memories moz, see you in vegas.
