Anya releases a studio version of her cover on iTunes, recorded in Los Angeles with Will Golden and mixed by long-time Morrissey guitarist/collaborator Alain Whyte, who also plays guitar on the track. The track features additional arranging from Unwritten Law’s Scott Russo, and drums were played by Louis XIV’s Mark Maigaard. The studio version is now available at iTunes along with Anya’s new single “All The Same To Me” for only $.99.

Currently the song is #1 on the alternative charts and #24 on the pop charts on itunes.

It was also featured on Gossip Girl last night in a controversial scene. You can watch it here.

  • I think it's awesome that Alain is doing all sorts of work. Since he isn't a mixer regulary, I think he did a great job. Good for him.

  • Good for Alain.

What happened to Mikey Farrell? He kinda just disappeared from the camp at the end of the 2007 Greatest Hits tour.
