  • I've just bought this from iTunes.

I already own all the b-sides!

The live tracks are nice but nothing spectacular.

    Why?

Why did I just pay £10.99 for something I don't need?

    a) I'm an idiot

    b) I'm the bestest Morrissey fan in the world

    c) I'm a sad sack idiot

    d) I'm OCD and need everything by Mozzer

  • HMV Bromley only had the double CD (in carboard packaging) so I gave it a miss. Will wait for the "non-deluxe" version.

  • After this weekend, it's nice to see that Morrissey still endures. His tour is back on and a new release. It's all very reassuring.

  • The un-canny timing of his "besides" cd coming out,ya know,RIGHT NOW,is ironic.

  • It is a great and well sequenced compilation of some truly great b-sides. Many of which their quality may have gotten lost in the shuffle to more casual, non-fanatic fans. Really now, If you have them already you don't have to buy it.

  • i think not if you bought it , it was because you wanted to.. no one was twisting your arm. me i bought as they are altogether on one album. i really wish only true fans would post. hey ho that's life ..

Bought the limited edition from ITunes and noticed that the version of The Slum Mums is different from the original single b-side. No children wailing at the start. Anyone else noticed this, or any other differences with other songs?

  • Either buy the singles or the compilations.. and you should be reasonably happy. It makes more sense, for me at least, to just wait on the compilations (because you know they are going to be released in some form).. This is why there is nothing to complain about! Swords is a fantastic set of songs. I am also surprised no one has commented on the album artwork (besides the cover).. at least in my edition, which included the warsaw cd, there were some pretty suave pictures of Morrissey and the band.. but I'm sure people will complain because they have seen them before -well a second look doesn't destroy the beauty for me.
