  • Lady Gaga apparently said in a newspaper this week after T in the Park, think it was the Daily Record, that she got into Glasvegas because Morrissey recommended them to her. I don't know what irritates me more - the fact they've conversed or the fact he recommended Glasvegas. LOL

  • No need to be Anonymous here. This is Depeche609 (I'm just too lazy to create a name for the main page) and stand up with pride saying Lady Gaga's music and her faux artsy attitude is bulls**t.

    She can like Morrissey all she wants. Morrissey is great. Everyone should like Morrissey, but if she starts saying what an inspiration he is and blah blah blah out my ass, then THAT would be cause for me to join twitter, follow her twitter and then respond to her Morrissey tweets.

    Sorry, my hatred for Gaga is large. I tried her out, after 1 minute of a few songs I realized she's just run of the mill. She's just like Katy Perry and all the other pop ladies out there except she dresses "funky" to get more attention.
    I was hoping for some interesting original synth sound by the looks of her, but all I heard was radio garbage.

    When that young girl from Paramore starting sporting a Morrissey shirt & Hilary Duff mentioned she liked Moz, I was all about it. Paramore & Duff suck from my point of view, yes, but at least they are TRYING to create MUSIC and not relying on "artsy" outfits to get famous.

    It's been done Lady Gaga and if I want it again I will go watch some Grace Jones videos. Please fade away.

    Man, I am red in the face...I need to calm down.

  • What's with all the hate for lady gaga. she represents everything that Morrissey has championed since 1984. A female pop singer with an individualism that sticks out from her contemparies. Also, strip away the dance remixes and disco production and you have songs as complex as Antony and the Johnsons. I can't believe that you can all class yourselves as morrissey/smiths fans yet still be so off track as to what the man actually represents and always strives for-perfect pop!!! I think it makes perfect sense he calls her a friend!

  • The hatred from people regarding Moz assosiating with Gaga is really ridiculous. If Moz wants to talk to gaga then so be it. If she good enought for Moz then thats good enough for me. cant stand her music, but let the man talk to who he wants.
