On Saturday June 20th the first annual Morrissey/Smiths tribute night “There is a Light that Never Goes Out” will be held at the Wandering Goat. The event will feature live Smiths and Morrissey covers from Eugene area bands Redox, the Comforters, and the Ambitious Outsiders plus many more. There will also be a raffle for prizes from local businesses such as Pegasus Pizza and CD WORLD, as well as Smiths and Morrissey memorabilia. In addition, there will be an open mic segment of the evening so anyone interested in performing should show up early to sign up first come first serve.
