Opinion: Deanna Delamotta - Manchester Evening News

...But if he has mellowed in middle-age, and he certainly appeared to be this charming man in recent TV appearances, isn't it time our civic leaders gave him due recognition?

  • This talks about how charming he is in t.v appearances and says he's MELLOWED with age? Hardly. What planet is this person on?

Morrissey is a loud mouthed, annoying arse these days. Mellowed? My lord, you can't shut him up!

  • can these so-called 'journalists', not refrain from spinning the old "Heaven Knows' reference as a way of pitching their sale. Mozzer is not miserable, his lyrics are laced with sarcastic wit, humour and scorn for almost everything and everybody. Seriously, I'm not a very educated person, I'm not even a well-read person, but after listening to Morrissey's lyrics, reading his interviews and listening to him talk I've realised probably how much I've learnt from Morrissey and when I read rubbish columns like that one, I can instinctively condemn it as pointless and irrelevant.
