  • This is one of those occasions where a non-Smiths track beats a Smiths track. The cover of Adam And The Ants' Beat My Guest is fantastic.

And so I drank one, it became four, and when I fell on the floor, I drank more
  • This is actually a surprisingly good cover version!
I usually loathe Smiths/Morrissey covers, but this is well worth the price of admission.
The guy's voice is actually reminiscent of Morrissey's voice on the Hacienda 1983 bootleg(before Moz had discovered his true voice).

Having checked out their own Myspace site, there is a definite Smiths influence to the rest of their own songs.

    A pleasant surprise!

"You should not go to them...let them come to you...just like I do..."
  • Yes that's a brilliant copy. And that's really saying something from someone that thinks Morrissey is the "be all and end all". Even the bit of a growl at the end is spot on. Maybe he could copy all Morrissey's songs, ya know, just in case the whole tour is cancelled, can't imagine anyone else doing such a good job. I don't want to see them though, that would spoil the whole thing.
