    • There's nothing you can say to them, because they think they already know it all. I've never understood this attitude. Even when I was young, I never understood the idea of holding someone in contempt just becuase they were born at an earlier date than I was. It's the height of vacuous myopia. I don't want to encourage political correctness unduly, but agism is one very rampant and unaddressed prejudice.

    He CAN pull off those jeans.

    But we really can't expect him to be a size 0 wearing over sized womens shirts forever. Plus he seems content enough with himself to show off his torso in concert all the time. I'm happy that he's happy with his weight. And that's all that matters.

    But seeing a paparazzi photo of Morrissey is odd. It must have been an off day.

  • That is the biggest he has been so far. I love how you all justify his weight gain by saying he looks normal for a man of nearly 50. I have seen plenty of 50 year olds way slimmer than that and they don't perform live on stage. I can't believe someone as justfiably vane as Moz is ok with looking like this??? He is gorgeous and always will be but he is overweight by about 10 kilos or more and if he lost that weight he'd lose 10 years or more. From how he looked in Who put the M? to this is amazing. We're only talking 4 years here! A much lighter Moz is a better Moz and a dancing Moz! Stop making excuses he is obese atm and has a duty to himself and us to look his best at all times. Don't go Elvis on us Morrissey!!!

  • I'm not overweight. It's just not a very good photo. Also, the shirt I am wearing is rather unflattering. It's loose around the midriff and is making my stomach look enlarged.

    I wish you people weren't so quick to judge. It's really unfair. Some of us just aren't very photogenic, and when you get to my age, even less so.

    Maybe the naked picture was taken around the time of the Hot Press ones. He was thinner then, and that was last spring/summer, wasn't it? Plenty of time between then and now pack on the pounds. Too bad. He looked good.

        I'm not saying he hasn't spread, but just that the recent naked photo isn't necessarily photoshopped. Maybe it is, I don't know, but believe me, you can look like that naked, and still look paunchier with clothes on.
