    BRILIANT!

    I got nostalgic (even though it was just a few months ago) about that abruptly ended Camden Roundhouse show when Moz was sick and Brand and Jonathan Ross came out and got boo-ed and showered with bottle caps... what a strange night THAT was indeed!

  • This is a great interview, Russ and Moz are in good form and its so nice to hear Morrissey in such good spirits, I don't think I've ever heard him in such a good mood also I'm not sure if I've counted correctly but I think Moz has turned up to 2 or 3 of Russ' stand up gigs in LA and given him a standing ovation.. Russ must be floating on air :)

    I would love it if this interview turns up on video, I know that sometimes one of Russ' crew films the radio show so if anyone hears of such, let us all know please.

    Lots of love to the Russ fans on this site, its a shame some of the miserable twats on here slag Russ off cos he's really a nice bloke and he is funny on many levels, maybe its just plain jealousy? Anyway Russ fans big love to you all....... you swines!! ;) xxx

  • I listened to some of this as is was actually going out, and also somehow managed to record it on my Sky+ box on the Radio2 channel. If you've not listened to it yet you're in for a real treat - and Morrissey really is on fine form. I wish people on here would cut Russell some slack - despite his obvious shortcomings his humour is very rude but he is not generally mean about anybody with it, and he does always seems genuinely nice and warm in interviews. Plus he ALWAYS plays a Morrissey-penned song on his radio show every week.

  • Without doubt, the best Morrissey interview I have ever heard. Is this the closest we will get to hear what he's actually like? It sounds like just a great conversation rather than an interview with them both obviously relaxed in each others company. Thank you so much for posting this online.
