Anybody headed to the Boston show tonight should be aware that the Red Sox parade is planned for today at 12:00 noon and will be passing by the area of the Orpheum.
The rally itself should be finished before the time of the show, but there will still be thousands of people in Boston - that's going to have an impact on traffic, parking, and mass transit. The MBTA is advising that PM peak trains "will incur unusual crowding and significant delays".
Also, be advised, many in the City of Boston will be highly intoxicated and trying to dance the Papelbon Jig while singing Dropkick Murphys songs. If these people frighten you, say something derogatory about the NY Yankees, high five them, and keep moving. Don't say you weren't warned...
