  • I wouldn't want to learn how to play musical instruments from Morrissey.

    I scare dead people.
  • We're talking about all areas of MUSIC here. Think back to those music theory classes most musicians don't think are essential, but under Professor Marr, I would take those classes!
Where's that precious clip of Johnny showing Morrissey how to play guitar...

  • As a lyricist and singer, I would love to gain some insight into Morrissey's writing process. As for writing music and playing guitar, I can think of no one I'd rather have a lesson from than Johnny Marr.

  • I'd rather *be* under Morrissey

  • Well 50% for Marr for the FANTASTIC guitar bits, but the same for Morrissey for his lyrics.
But as for now, 100% for Morrissey - he is an absolute star. You cannot beat his solo performance. He is in the league of his own. Sorry to say but he just pisses over everyone else.

  • Really - if you analyse pop rock, you'd have to vote for Andy. His basslines are the motivatation behind Johnnys genius. But, since I can't vote for him, I voted for Moz because his lyrics are one of few I listen to. I enjoy all kinds of tunes and types but hardly ever listen to the (mundane) lyrics.

    Viva Andy!
