This news has been uploaded, in a piece called “Looking Forward to 2007” on Exit Weekly’s website:

- On Feb. 3 legendary film composer Ennio Morricone, most famous for his spaghetti western scores, will be giving a highly anticipated performance at Radio City Musical Hall in New York City. It's been rumored that Morrissey will perform with him on a song or two. (Morricone composed the string arrangement for one of the tracks on Moz's new album). -

  • I was informed at the Radio City box office that the "cheap" $60.00 tickets are now sold out, and the remaining $120.00 (and up?) tickets are selling fast.

Even If Mozza does not show up, it will be a pretty dramatic show. If he does make an appearance - well, the thought of him singing in front of a 200 piece orchestra boggles the mind.

If Moz did not exist, it would be necessary to invent him.
  • It will probably be recorded and that will be enough for me.

  • I'm sorry, but Morricone is highly overrated. I will not be paying $120 for such a charade!

  • i just checked for tickets and the cheapest now available are 295 dollars. or if your feeling frisky you can shell our over 500 for the orchestra seating. shhhesh. if it were solid that morrissey would be there i would think about the 295 tickets.
