  • Is it just me, or does moz look, um, windy?!

  • This single will struggle to make the top 40. There will probably be even less promotion than usual, what with the speculation that Moz will follow Merck out of Sanctuary.

    It's a dreadful song, too.

  • Moz looks a lot younger on this one than the 'In The Future...' cover. All the same, I wish the cover photos could be a bit more... interesting.

  • we need to laugh in the face of those who said the original announcement of this was "obviously false" etc etc, when it turned out to be true. so he really is scraping the barrel, only offering ONE new song. he won't chart highly at all, then he'll moan.

  • Steven I love you.

  • Morrissey also takes the Metro Radio Arena in Newcastle by storm for an experience to eclipse the Gateshead anti-climax where he is sure to see lots of boys (and girls) happy! This single could be a surprise Christmas hit, touching a raw nerve in burdenned parents trying to do their best. Here's to The Boy!

  • Apparently the photograph for the new single was taken as Moz was leaving a Beefeater steakhouse after eating a nice bit of T-Bone Steak!
No wonder he looks heartilly full!
Lovely bit o grub that! Nice one Mozzer!

I put in Malajusted the other day and think its far better

  • I wish people would stop moaning - but then again this is Morrissey so-low. I think it's great news that there will be another single, Boy happy is a great tune and it ties in nicely with the forthcoming UK tour. Who really gives a fuck whether it makes the top 10 or not.

True friends stab you in the front.
  • It's a new Moz single -- get behind it!

I like the track (and all of the tracks on ROTT), but On the Streets... would've been the less expected choice. Combine it with at least 2 new b-sides and some vintage Manchester cover imagery and the ROTT single sales would've got their second wind...ahem.

    • Odd choice of cover picture, but I like the pink shirt, and the quiff looks rather spiffing. I think he's actually meant to be clearing his throat, having whipped off his bow tie ... in fact, my first thought was 'best man about to make wedding speech to end all wedding speeches (he's probably going to say he's slept with the bride ... or groom).
Whatever's afflicting him, I'll rub his back for him any time.
And yes, we should get behind it ... the single that is.

    PS: the song sucks.

  • Moz looks fine in this cover, I like his clothes. The cover of In The Future When All's Well was a little bit... ñeee, strange but funny... my favourite is THE YOUNGEST and YOU HAVE KILLED ME... Moz expecting the death by the railways and drunk-like pose with tears in his eyes.

Still I proclaim... the best Ringleader song is THE FATHER WHO MUST BE KILLED

  • From a (mostly) shit album. Oh dear, oh dear, oh dear.

Would it have killed him to release some new material, like a new single?

Who is the photographer? They should be shot.

This is looking increasingly like self-sabotage.

I really wouldn't put it past him.

  • I love that picture in which he's wearing that pink shirt, but does anyone know why in the world he is holding that bag of Fronzies? I'd devotedly munch 100 of those a day if it just meant he'd see me after that, but why in the world is he holding that bag for? (I remember him advertising some kind of cereal too). That must be vegetarian food, but all chips are vegeterian...why doesn't he hold a bag of Doritos? Or Fritos?
