The Sun's Something For The Weekend section has voted www.morrisseymusic.com as it's 'Website of the week... not'. It takes issue with the merchandise and critizes Morrissey for an apparent hypocrisy over this and his opposition to Thatcherism. Of course it's facts are wildly wrong. There is no mention of this being controlled only by Sanctuary and Morrissey's obvious contempt for the site shown by his favouring true-to-you. It then has the cheek to suggest true-to-you is a better site... a conclusion Morrissey obviously came to some time ago!

  • Bravo to The Sun who are such Morrissey experts, they can't even read the website address given on all of the ROTT releases..........

    I must admit I burst out laughing at their front page pic yesterday. An England shirt with the legend "IT IS TIME". Because of course nothing else is happening in the world, that's such a fab thing to plaster your front page with. I still find it a dismal reflection on the human race that people actually buy that crap.

    Thankfully most people seem to get it for the soft porn and the tv pages...

  • If Morrissey is so contemptuous, why does he allow the site to exist? And truetoyou is nothing but "official" (boring, nice and safe) press-release news. This site is easily superior to both of those for containing what the fans believe is of interest.

  • Is an awful site, how can it be a true website when there aren't news items or updates for months because it's author is touring with Morrissey? And no I'm NOT jealous, I admire Julia because she's got so close to Morrissey, we all would like to wouldn't we? HONESTLY?!
    Solo has always been a better site, despite the nuggets who troll it.
