Belligerent Ghoul sends the link/excerpt:

Robin Guthrie, Cameo Cinema, Edinburgh - The Herald

As with the music, there's no narrative, just a sense of dreamy propulsion. For all its snugly wide-screen loveliness, however, once again, the sheer privacy of the music only fully embraces during the occasional percussive climax. The stumblebum Q and A session that follows reveals Guthrie as a shy but waggish individual, whose sense of schadenfreude at recalling a now porky Morrissey once calling him "fat boy" is delivered with a schoolboyish giggle.

  • That is the first time I have read anyone say that on this site, and for some time I have wondered why??? I have adored that Manc since I was a school kid, but on stage in this last tour there was more than a whiff of 'Elvis in Vegas' - Moz, mate, sort it out!!! I know it must be hard to be vegetarian in Italy (it broke me a few years ago) BUT no excuse to have a diet of bread cheese and beer!!!

  • For Heavens Sake! Morrissey looks very fit & healthy and comfortable in his own body. He is not fat, he is not thin, he is "normal". I hate today's celebrity obsessed culture where women have to be stick-thin and male "pop-stars" are flashing their supposedly "good" and admirable physique about.
To the previous poster: It shows that you are a very sad person, these sort of things just don't come into being a Morrissey fan. Every time Ive seen him I'm just Glad that I have done.

This is such a boring subject. Everyone in their 40's with such a great appearance and shape - come forward!
