Today while I was myspace, I saw that Red Lightning posted a bulletin that they would be on the midday show "Jonesy's Jukebox" on Indie 103.1.

I'm listening to this and I heard something very interesting.

Steve was suggesting to Alain he move out to Los Angeles and was suggesting this home for sale across the street from him. he said that it was about 1.5 million for the house, and alain said that he's flattered that Steve thinks he's that rich.

I only caught the last 15 minutes of the show (the rebroadcast) and here are some things I heard (in no particular order):

    1. They did a cover of First of the Gang to Die. (I liked it, but then I'm usually biased on Moz covers.)
    2. Alain spoke about how he met Morrissey. Alain pomped his hair up for the try-out to be in the band because Morrissey liked that type of look.
    3. At a gig (after the 1st time Alain met Moz) w/Gary and Spencer, Alain saw Moz and said he got the balls to go up to him and say hi. Alain was like "aww man!" because his hair was all down and not pomped up like he had it for the try-out. He told the guys to play good because Moz was there and was looking for guys to be in his band.
    4. Steve Jones kept calling the other guy in Red Lightning by the wrong name in a joking manner. (I forget what it was but he had a longish last name.)

If I remember anything else I'll post another comment.

  • I wonder if Morrissey has screwed another band mate out of money?
