There's something very different about the Quarry titles and these titles than everything else he'd done before.
They sound so boring, too literal.
That was my problem with some of the songs on Quarry, he's gotten more literal than he used to be. I miss the ambiguousness.

i look upon the 2006 calendar and think that maybe whoever wrote this was looking at the month of March. assuming they want the first monday in april, i think they mean April 3rd (or april 4th for us yanks)

maybe they set the release date on a thurdsay because they want the album to get as many sales in as possible before the Cchart is closed. Morrissey would love a number one this time round. I hope Keane won't screw things up again.

Comments from the dude at epiclylaterd:
then I went to this weird theater and listened to Ringleader of the Tormentors. I sat there and
listened to it twice. It was kind of an awkward way to get to know a Morrissey record though
It's so amazing. Most of the songs are incredible, my favorites were:
"I Will See You in Far Off Places" it sounds Middle Eastern and very heavy.
"Dear God Please Help Me" has beautiful strings by Ennio Morricone,
"Life is a Pigsty" is a 7 and half minute epic.
"At Last I Am Born" reminds me of "Frankly Mr. Shankly" and has awesome talking bits
as well as the children's choir... "The Youngest was the Most Loved" had the choir too.
5 different songs have a version of the word "kill" in the lyrics.
