  • I went to see this last night-it was very enjoyable-I didn't really understand it but some of the musical arrangements were fab...they made my spine tingle!!

  • This is the kind of thing that happens in it?

'Furthermore, with the action frequently taking place simultaneously at opposite ends of the stage, there is often a bewildering choice as to where to direct your attention. Should you watch the starfish on the screen? Or if you opt for the stage, should you concentrate on the women reading the News of the World or the man being constrained with strings?'

Damn, I wish I could have gone to Manchester. I don't really think there's any point in hoping they'll stage a show in the States, eh?

Would anyone like to further elaborate on what it was like? A military execution set to 'Well I Wonder'? It sounds sort of incredible.

  • My amateur attempt to review the show can be read at the fabulous new Morrissey website prettypettythieves.com:

It's rather reassuring to know I was not the only one who was a bit confused as to the musical's meaning!

  • We too enjoyed the arrangements but were a little freaked out by the show itself. Some folk in the toilets afterwards spouting a bit of psycho-babble - they clearly didn't get it either...
