"Morrissey is splitting with his long-time guitarist and music director Boz Borer. The Polecats frontman has finally had enough and is moving to Europe."

    as a popbitch fan and contributor, i think this one is way off base for more than one reason(which i will not disclose). in fact, if you're going to start a rumour, the least you can do is get the spelling right on the characters involved.
    trust me, this is not the truth but only a rumour and a bad one at that.

    Considering a friend spoke to Boz only last week in Belfast and he couldn't praise Morrissey enough, any split would have occurred within the last 6 days. Didn't Popbitch also say Gwen Stefani and Gavin Rossdale were divorcing and that Jennifer Aniston was a lesbian? Methinks it is shaping up to be the Daily Sport of the internet.

    Cobblers - I spoke to Boz at the Manchester Deltas gig and at the do in Sheffield and all he could talk about was Moz. Not only did he sign every Boz linked Morrissey sleeve, he also kept us upto speed with Alain and Gary's current goings on and some gossip on the IOW fiasco. The chances of the Polecats reforming are about as likely as the Beatles getting back together again and as for moving to Europe (although, apparently, Britain is a member of the EU...funny that), he does have a timeshare in Portugal. Hardly emigrating though, is it.
