An anonymous person writes:
Morrissey's 'Live at Earl's Court' album was given a 7 out of 10 review by the NME this week. The title of the article was 'This Charming Elder Statesman', and the wry and surprisingly affectionate piece concluded that Morrissey had 'lost none of his potency'. --- lozzamozza also writes: In the April issue of NME ( pg 49) there's a review for "Live at Earl's Court"( by Rob Fitzpatrick). Just a few sentences from that article: "A new live CD proves that the Mozfather is just as potent as he ever was" "An alluring performer at 45 as he was at 23". "Right at the very end of this CD an over-emotional Morrissey howls "Don't forget me ! I love you" "Thank you for coming" he says, like a parking attendant on a particularly tubercular morning."Thank you for being you".

Mutual satisfaction then, as we anticipate what else might follow in 2005's embrace of genuine recognition.

Did I hear Moz wrong ???? (Score:1)
Plus..all these rave reviews of the concert CD, you know you will only listen to it once, though at least the DVD has a good proportion of good solo songs and not as many duff b-sides and smiths songs (great as they are, but having to get 2 guitarists + a keyboard player to replicate one mans guitar part is just weak - to say the least) he has such a great solo back catalogue, but for me the Earls Court gig didn't exploit this.

Come on... we must get this single to the top, where it deserves to be!!! I'm going out to buy another copy today. Hearing the crowd in the background, of which I was part, singing the immortal words of TIALTNGO to Moz, and meaning every word, leaves me tingling with pride and passion. The DVD with all the between-song quips is just going to blow my mind.
By the way, does anyone else think that Moz's "Thank you" at the end of the single sounds like Tommy Cooper? It makes me laugh!
