So around town, most of the posters for tonight's show have been snagged up. Clear Channel had hired Jermaine Rogers to do the official poster for tonight's show which is a pretty nice. It's a 28x40 painting of the man himself....printed on really nice art print paper.

  • I have this [jermainerogers.com] poster of his

The new poster isn't characteristic of his style, but I do like it.

  • i hope morrissey never goes back to your yee-haw state b/c you dont deserve it! pay $300 and fly you ass to LA or NYC where he is garanteed to always play for the rest of his life. at least he received no death threats in these two places.

  • That is a good poster, compared to the other paintings of Moz. I agree on the whole "Mozzenstein" thing though. All he needs are scars and those battery contacts on his neck.

    ...and how?
  • It's a nice picture but it does not look much like Morrissey...Anyone who has seen him in person knows this.

  • This looks like one of those arsey drawings that Britains top light entertainer Vic Reeves so frequently used on Big Night Out and Smell of Reeves of Mortimer.
In other words it's 'Very poor'.

  • I love it! Where can I get one? I love the way Morrissey looks at you in the painting, coupled with the question. Someone said this artist has done other Morrissey posters? Which ones? Ive only seen one other with Morrissey and Oscar Wilde and others sitting at a table, but it was a different look than this. It was illustrated but not painted.

  • I love the dark, sombre colours and atmosphere. Morrissey has surely grown up and I think this is shown - underlined with the quoted question.

I think through the (sad) cancellation of this show it gets the extra-bonus.... "Do you love me like you used to do?" (even though I've cancelled the show and let you down?)
