Morrissey - Brighton Centre, Brighton (Ticketmaster)

As Brighton is less than a hour from London, I bet this hits sales for Earls Court.

  • Brighton Center is rubbish - Dome would have been better - last time I went there I had all my teeth kicked in by bouncers.

At least its right on the seafront - and at that time of the yesr - its bound to be 'breezy'

yep - but the 6 months I spent off work afterwards kinda dragged a bit

Everyone thinks Brighton is a lovely town, it aint - its full of nutters, piss heads and drug addicts - thats why I moved back to Liverpool.

Ah well - better start trying to ponce somewhere to stay..

  • It may have escaped the attention of all you moaning minnies in other countries, but YATQ has gone platinum in the UK. That makes the UK Morrissey's biggest captive market, bar none.

In any event, there haven't actually been a mass of shows in the UK, and most of these were in the North of England and Scotland...hence the majority of UK shows recently announced are in the South and Midlands to redress the balance.

In any event, Morrissey has done far more shows in the US in 2004 - in fact, I'd go as far as to say a disproportionate amount of shows when looking at the US sales.

  • Ah man, I've wanted Moz to do a show in my new home town of Brighton for ages- now he's doing one but I already got tickets for Earls Court weeks ago!

I hate his new policy of announcing shows one by one, what ever happened to an old fashioned thing called a tour? You know, announcing a string of dates all at the same time?

Aw well, I guess I could go to both, but that's not the point...
