Unique pictures of Morrissey from Oxford based photographer and hairdresser. Well worth a look.

  • if any was needed - as anyone who has ever worked with or as a photographer - there is rather more to it than 'point and click'

I kinda like them because they are so candid and unflattering, most of the stuff that gets into print will have been edited to death first - to be honest - the first one is best - I'd recognise that looming shape anywhere.

  • This guy has some of these photos in the window of his hairdresser's in Oxford, I walk past it from my college to where I live in Oxford. He also has photos of other people in the window.

I noticed them a while ago and did wonder whether he had taken them himself, and if they were for sale, etc.

  • I gotta say, Moz is wearing his age well. He looks sly, he looks dignified, and in pic #9 he looks like he's suppressing a laugh. Very natural and interesting.

  • I liked all the pictures. Picture number three is my favorite.

He is looking down and appears to be embarrassing grinning, as if he remembered leaving his underpants in a laudramat dryer. So endearingly boyish.

  • Very nice pictures of Moz. Perfect kind of candids now that he is in the later part of his life. It really brings out his sense of humor in a distinguished way. To be honest, he reminds me more of Sean Connery in 'Diamonds Are Forever', than before. Since the 2000 tour, he has maintained somewhat of a Bondish flair. Very cool.

  • A lot of his songs, especially off YatQ, convey such joy and such a great sense of humor, despite everything. It's nice to see some photos where it's not Moz looking somber through a rainy window, above a title proclaiming that "He's still the Pope of Mope" or something to that effect.

  • well, there isn't much... BUT, the photographer obviously knew Moz well enough to get him to relax and have a friendly atmosphere, so we have these interesting photos!

Moz looks well, very well. Sory of like his Vauxhall look (my favourite era) 9 years on, as if the sleek '97 period, the unkept hair of 2000, and the old-man-in-a-cardigan 2002 periods never happened.

    VIVA MOZ!

  • I always love looking at pictures of Morrissey because of his many facial expressions. He's got the funny Disgusted Look, the Coy Look, the Grinning Irishman Look, the I'm-Trying-So-Hard-Not-To-Laugh Look, and so on. And, he has such wise eyes. *sigh* He's so fucking fantastic...
