XFM ran a brief discussion of the Reading/Carling weekend and Morrissey was described as "the undoubted star of the weekend, and of 2004" I couldn't name the individuals partaking in the discussion, but here are a few excerpts: A: So who stole the show? B: Well that's easy, Morrissey A: Did he play a good set? B: *coughing and spluttering* Is How Soon Is Now, There is a Light That Will Never Go Out and Irish Blood, English Heart good enough for you? C: I'd say that's pretty good! Later, his comeback was briefly mentioned, and they said how amazing the audience reaction was to his shows at both Reading and Leeds. It looks like his Summer really has peaked just at the right time - and with excellent early reviews coming through of his smaller venue tour, this looks like the right time to see Morrissey! All publicity is good publicity and good publicity is even better!
