Morrissey - Hulmerist (DVD) (September 14th)
Originally released on VHS back in 1990 and has now been remastered and released on DVD (NTSC / Region 0) for the first time. The disc contains 7 music videos which are intercut with footage filmed at Morrissey's first solo gig at Wolverhampton Civic Hall in 1988. Also out on the same date is Malady Lingers On (DVD) which carries on with 8 music videos from where the previous DVD left off.

  • I bought these dvd's ages ago. Is there a later release date in other places outside of the UK?

  • a wonderful historical document of Morrissey and his "fandom" from the start of his solo career. I much prefer it to the slop collection in Oye Esteban! I don't much care for Malady cos it's got it differs from Oye Esteban by only one video. The presentation of those videos is pretty standard. Still...I love the artwork for both.

  • hulmerist is great, a must own, still quite short at under 45 mins but the footage between video promos of the civic hall 88 gig just shows how much he's adored.

malady on the other hand is just 26 mins long with nothing of any excitment as its all on the oye esteban dvd APART from the video for 'certain people i know.....
    filmed on a beach.......

truth rest your head there is more than a life at stake here..she may well sell sanctuary but she'll also sell your soul
  • Needless to say the whole Wolverhampton gig should have been released. Seeing those fans and the atmozphere and almost every member of The Smiths is just heaven. I want more. And Craig Gannon just looks cool.

for haven’t you me with you now?
  • I'd like to see 'The South Bank Show' special released on DVD - maybe with last years documentary to form a double bill of documentaries.

If anyone from Sanctuary is reading this, if you can sort out the royalites on this you could flog a truck load of DVD's over your web-site.

Do my eyes deceive me, or is Senna's Lotus sounding rough?
