Moz in ‘letdown of the summer’ category in NME festival poll

NME has just announced its festival poll

And poor old Moz only features in the short list for ‘letdown of the summer’. So even if he goes down an absolute storm at Reading and Leeds (we can dream!), he could only make himself slightly less of a letdown! As someone who works in market research, I’d like to severely question the objectivity of this poll!

    Oh man, I think it's pretty great that Morrissey is a "letdown" then. If he was considered to be as "good" as Muse, I'd be conscerned!

  • What would we be without our haste to put down the ones we love? Take no notice. I refer you to the appalling treatment Paula Radcliffe has faced from the press; when she wins she's practially a god, but after all this build up and she drops out and the Mirror are all tuts like a disappointed mother who's just discovered her 13 year old son smokes. Big surprise. No wonder British athletes are so nervy and prone to panic attacks and anxiety related ill health when they have all that pressure on them just not to get things wrong. Same with our beloved pop/rock stars. Little bit of support here and there, all it needs...
