  • Six dates for moi! This is going to be an exciting November!

  • Even in California,November is mightly late in the year for a outdoor show. Be sure to dress warmly!

  • Need to know soon so I can fill out an absentee ballot to vote for Kerry. ATTN PHX PROMOTORS --Dodge, Celebrity Theatre, Mesa Amp. Duke it out! Make this shit happen!
Rialto(where he played last tour) is closed in Tucson for renovations, so that's out. Can't think of anywhere else he'd play down here. Most venues are either too big or too small. Well, there always is the outdoor Native American casino thing. Cafe Tacuba played there last month. Brilliant. And the Furs, Berlin, and Missing Persons did this month. Good sound. Grass to lie on as well...
Does not matter where it is, just please stop in AZ!!!! I'll be at El Paso and beyond, but there's lots of fans down here that can't travel and would really feel slighted.

  • thank GOD Moz is *finally* doing a proper show here in the Bay Area, and at the Fabulous BCT to boot! the Aura of Bowie (who played 2 shows there in April) will still be in the air then, I can feel it!

  • he'd not leave us with just the Sharon Meadows gig; I knew he'd come back in Fall and give us a *proper* gig!!! Berkeley Community Theatre is a bloody great venue too - I've seen The Jam, The Clash (yes, way before their stadium days), and Elvis Costello there...gosh, now I'm excited for "the day to come sooner"!

Oh, great, even MORE US dates... I just can't hold back my excitement about that, really. Maybe I'm just too dumb, foolish or whatever to still hope for a proper European tour. I guess, that there are surely some Welsh, Scottish and Mexican dates planned for the rest of November, December, as well as another triumphant "homecoming" show in Manchester. Frankly, I'm sorry for losing my temper momentarily, but there are still people out there, who don't live in the US or UK and aren't too keen on punctual festival appearances only, when it comes to the "old world".

  • Still no dates for Phoenix or Tucson. Oh well - considering I therefore won't get another chance any time soon to see him - I can't complain.

But what about the REALLY hard-bit ones? Maybe he should try and do some shows in Ireland or Australia. Or even Canada. Southern Californians are spoiled with Morrissey appearances.

I think a photo of Morrissey with a koala would be kinda cute.

  • Socal people get all the shows! Hmmm, let me see...

First of all Berkley is up north, a six hour drive or maybe a little less.

Las Vegas, four hour drive maybe a little less.

Santa Barbara and San Diego 2 hour drive.

Universal only like 10 minutes away. (so LA gets 3 shows)

We are not that lucky. We got five shows in the Spring but so did New York. The only reason why it feels as if we get more shows is because most of the people in LA like to come online and brag about it... therefore it seems as if we are always having shows. If you look at it, Los Angeles isn't that lucky. Los Angeles didn't even get a solo show in 2002!

Now lets talk about this tour... Most people on the east coast can drive a couple of hours to see him for a good amount of shows. The Texas people can do the same. If you don't want to do that then it is yor fault so stop complaining about how lucky Los Angeles is.

Just think of the Los Angeles people as people who actually drive around to see him to as shows as we can.

So I suggest you all rent a car, take a bus or a train and go see him.

    Where the *%)# is Vancouver?
Vancouver loves Morrissey, one of the best shows in 97 was Vancouver, plus they have the Best Dressed Crowd $$$ around.

  • Thank God I didnt buy my tickets. I'd rather go see Moz at his own gig. Not waste a whole fuckin day in the heat on some dirt ridden "lawn". side's I was not bout to pop $55 bucks on a ticket. I'll spend that kind of money on Moz alone not on some festival type gig.

  • now your popular again morrissey!, great i am sincerley happy for you, but i live in nebraska. what the hell. how many times can you play los angeles. im not asking you to play in nebraska, but damn, the closest you get is chicago(500 miles). maybe i shouldnt complain, but ive waited all summer while moz was all over europe, and im a bit disapointed. i live in omaha, and the music seen is pretty damn good for the midwest. moz might be suprised how many tix he could sell. ive seen moz in colorado, kansas, and las vegas. i just wish once he would throw us a bone. arrrgh!!!!!!!
