Following the news from Sanctuary that the DVD is not yet a definite, I'm running an online petition asking them to release the Manchester concerts. If you feel you'd like the Manchester shows to have a commercial release, please fill in the petition on the website listed below - at the end of Aug 2004, I'll hand the petition over to Sanctuary.

  • I believe BlinkTV were filming the concert, it ,may be worth petitioning them as well

  • Actually someone somewhere should release live DVDs of concerts from other major tours as well, including for the Smiths. I often get questions about this via my website, and there's a big market of bootleg Morrissey and Smiths DVDs on Ebay and other trading sites. If EMI and Warner were wise, they could snatch some of this market for their own profits. They would certainly not lose a penny.

  • Wouldn't a DVD of a performance of *this* tour issued anytime before the end of the tour have the potential to erode the commitment by some to actually see Morrissey live? I think they should hold onto this live performance until the next album/tour...or at least until this tour (haphazard as it's been) is over.

  • The Stray Cats released a cd of their recent show in Paris. They're still touring!!! And if I'm not wron haven't the Chilli Peppers done the same?

I don't see anything wrong with releasing something now. Many fans around the world have yet to see him and might not at all on this tour. You get the bootleg after the show so why not the DVD?

I want a DVD and I want it NOW!!!!
