I have worked things out with the Lollapalooza people and have gotten confirmation on the following dates:

San Diego, CA (July 20), Coors Amphitheater
Ventura, CA (July 22), Ventura Fairgrounds
New York City, NY (Aug. 16), Randalls Island

Pixies are co-headlining the Ventura date and also the NYC date with Morrissey.

  • so i guess poor old San Diego will have to fork over an entire paycheck, stand around in the hot sun all day next to stinking hippies drenched in patchouli for a shortened Morrissey set.

    but oh boy, maybe i can pay $60 for a henna tattoo!

    if there isn't a god, Morrissey will play another non-lalapalooza SD date.

  • We already know the Lollapalooza dates. They are on lollapalooza.com, are on pollstar.com, and they first appeared in their entiety on an mtv.com news item. Why are the Lollapalooza folks playing games with Morrissey-solo?

    We get Franz Ferdinand and Prince the same month so this should be a great summer tour season.

  • Looks like I will have to play guinea pig as far as 2 day diseases go to get out of work for the 12 and 13th of August..anybody have thoughts about flus or fevers in AUGUST? probably not..I'll just take leave and hopefully Moz willheadline one night and Pixies the other...who cares WHAT A FRICKIN GREAT SHOW! I SAW THE FIRST LOLLA AND THIS LOOKS JUST AS SMOOTH!

    Oh AND it will be good to not have to go to DC for this show!!!

  • These are the dates that are posted on morrisseymusic.com for lollapalooza under Morrissey's tour dates page (http://www.morrisseymusic.com/tour.asp) - does that mean they're confirmed, and the only dates, or what?
