    i really want to go to this show...the joint is a great place to see someone at. i have seen dm there before and it is the perfect place. whoever goes is lucky, hope you have fun!!

  • Just FYI, besides the fact that it's Spring Break for some, There must be something else going on because there are NO hotels rooms anywhere in Vegas that weekend. The few that you can find are well over hundreds of dollars a night..... $470 for the Aladdin? You must be fucking kidding me. I was hoping to stay at Terrible's, but they are sold out, as is everyone else. If you need a room, do it quick, or pray for a cancelation. Even the rooms in Primm are almost completely booked.

  • Hmm... I'm faced with a real dilema..

    I'm going to be working in Minneapolis for a few weeks as of this coming weekend, which is nice and all, birthplace of Prince, erm, and other such wonderful things.

    But, at the moment I'm likely to be flying back here on Sunday the 18th. Morrissey is playing in Vegas on Saturday the 17th. So here's the dilema:

    Do I fly to Vegas on the Friday after work, stay Friday and Saturday, then risk flying back to Minneapolis to get my flight home on the Sunday, remembering that it's spring break week and there's a huge convention in Vegas that'll mean a lot of delayed flights... Am I just courting disaster and blatantly going to be stranded in Minneapolis and have to beg my work to send me another ticket home because I went to see Moz? Hmm...

  • The problem I have with The Joint is that there are 2 seperate lines... 1 for the "special" guest of their hotel who spend mucho dinero & get compted (sp??) into the show... they get let in first. And the 2nd line is for those of us that have waited outside in the heat since 2-3-4-5-6 am! The people who got compted are assholes. They are a bunch of guys trying to impress their ho's & they get pissed off by people "pushing".

    The only good thing I like about the Hard Rock is they usually print/make "real" playing casino chips for the shows that play there. Got to get me some. After all this ranting and raving, I'm still going:)

  • I said #$#%%$% to getting tickets to the anaheim show, I logged on at 8am for the pre-sale and got shut out! They will be having a 10am pre-sale show this Friday by calling the grove. They are suppose to email out the password if you signed up to be a friend of the grove.

    I'm not taking my chances as all the other so.cal concerts are sold out and this place only holds 1,200 people. I bought tickets to the vegas show on pre-sale and they were still available as of 3:00pm pacific time U.S. Other posters are talking about hotle rooms and yes they are SUPER EXPENSIVE this weekend and not many available. I picked up a room at the Hard Rock and it cost WAY TO MUCH. But this is the musice I love and I just took a step back and said $%##% it, I am going to enjoy the show and the weeekend no matter what the cost. I am stoked to be going.
