Under archive's they have two Smiths related items
1) under Discumentary, there is a 10 minutes clip on Strangeways Here We Come
2) Under Below the surface, there is a brief interview conducted by phone with Johnny Marr in mid 2003.
Thought some people might like to hear em!

Know thy footwear

by KRISTIAN GRAVENOR

Excerpt:

Mancunian crooner Morrissey once noted that one's self is unknowingly dictated by the footwear one happens to be sporting. Put a skinhead in slippers and he's instantly transformed into a nerd, get a goth into loafers and the tragic scowl disappears.

Andy Rourke to DJ at Manchester's Star & Garter
Kitchen-Sink Discotheque writes:

Ex-Smiths bassist Andy Rourke will be special guest DJ at the Kitchen-Sink Disco in Manchester this month.

On Friday, January 30th Mr Rourke will take over disc-jockey duties at the world famous Star & Garter in Manchester - and don't worry he will play Smiths/Morrissey records.

Playing live alongside him will be Glasgow's bedsit surrealists, the Hector Collectors, Belfast/Edinburgh sound guerrillas, Laura Aura & the Shoy Shoy Boy and from Manchester’s Shadrack & Duxbury Records – the debonair Vinny Peculiar - who will be your compére for the evening.

The Star & Garter is a nice, friendly venue in the same place they hold the legendary Smiths/Morrissey Disco (which will be held the week before on Friday 23rd).

Kitchen-Sink Discotheque
Star & Garter, 18 – 20 Fairfield Street
Manchester
0161 273 6726
