    Nice sentiment. However .....

    a) Morrissey is way, way richer than anyone in B&S is ever likely to be. How many members of B&S live in mansions in the Hollywood Hills? Up until very recently most of them had day jobs as well.

    b) Morrissey doesn't need "helping". He needs to get off his arse, make an album with his own money and tout it to labels as a finished product, or else mmarket it independantly, rather than just sitting around in his mansion waiting for the phone to ring.

    c) Jeepster is an indie. I'm sure they could never pay Morrissey the sort of money he would want/expect. Morrissey wants the money/financial support of a major label. personally I'd quite like to see him on an indie, but I don't think it's going to happen.

    d) B&S have tried hard to shake the dreaded "new Smiths" tag. I'm sure this would backfire badly for them.

    e) To the best of my knowledge, only Stuart Murdoch and Isobel Campbell are Smiths fans. And I've never heard either of them mention his solo stuff.

    can you think about what you wrote? you are asking a tiny indie band to help out a guy with a career that spans 20 years, who lives in a mansion in Los Angeles, and who can fill stadiums on more than one continent.

  • You're pathetic!!!!! How could you waste your time writing to someone asking for a job to Morrissey?????!!!!! You're insane, you're nuts!!! All this whole thing came to a point beyond reason. Don't you have a life, because Morrissey has his own life, it's living well. I can almost bet if he is a kind of retired is because he can't dealed anymore with these kind of things (like this one). No one could leave with this...
    The B&S's response was almost delicate if we read the pathetic question first.
