Exclusive: July spawns a Moz tour!
08.mar.02

Some of you may have heard already heard that The Mighty Mozzer is touring this year. Some of you might not have. Either way, you now know, and what we know you don't, so readeth ye on.

Basically, Stephen Patrick Morrissey will tour the world this year, and said tour includes at least five UK dates. We know that Birmingham, Glasgow and London are amongst these dates, and we know they're in July. That's all we know. But for now, we suspect it may be enough.

So get ready. A full announcement is expected within the fortnight. Stop.

Alas, Morrissey has poor geography skills, and will either forget Canada all together, or just hit our national toilet, Toronto.

Admit it, November, and Hairdresser were the major high points in the previous tour. If only the man would play Mute Witness, The Loop, Pregnant, Playboys, Disappointed, Picadilly, Sing Your Life, Our Frank, King Leer, Driving Your Girlfriend Home, Sister I'm A Poet, Lucky Lisp, Margaret On The Guillotine, Glamerous Glue, Bengali In Platforms, Born To Hang, Striptease With A Difference, Oh Phoney, and There Speaks A True Friend. If the man plays any of these songs I will be elated. If I even just see a stand up Bass I will be elated. But if is just the same old boring Esteban shit again I will just stay home.

The tour will be the way to show that he does have a dedicated fan base who will want (and pay for) a new release. He gives you an inch and you ask for a yard. So, to bastardize Moz's lyrics, he is doing his best so don't worry, those of you who are whining buggers.
